Chapter 13

Compare: This week I chose to talk about ocean pollution and how it affects our society. Most people want it because it’s convenient and accessible but it not biodegradable. This means that it can not be composted like paper or cardboard. It has to be out In a landfill but woth people not taking responsibility of throwing away plastic it’s filling our ocean. “About 8 million tonnes of plastic enters the sea every year, and at this rate we face a future with more plastic in the Ocean than fish by 2050. Our plastic addiction and waste mismanagement is condemning countless marine birds and animals to death by entanglement or poisoning, and even leading to chemical contamination of the fish we eat.”

The fact that by 2050 we will have more plastic then fish in the ocean is terrifying what will that do to our drinking water? Food supply? And animals of the ocean?
